Fantastic family-like atmosphere. Not only do the hosts greet & treat you like family but allow you to openly meet theirs! Clean, comfortable, organized. In a market but very quiet. There are nice walkable cafes & restaurants in this friendly neighborhood, which gets you out of the hustle & bustle of the center.

The host was great. She is calm and gentle and answers every question I had with some English and some google translate. We were able to even have conversations. The room was comfy. If you are looking for an experience of a smaller ryokan, this is the place. Close to subway station. Shinjuku and Shibuya are easy to get to. Coin laundry next door, which we used and was convenient. 7/11 next door which we used to send our luggage ahead to the next location and that was convenient too! The reception lobby area is set up like a cute retro cafe. Super cute.

We stayed 5 nights in this gem of an apartment, and we absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect. The apartment was very large for our family of 4, and having 2 bathrooms and showers was very nice. The beds were so so comfortable. The pillows were perfect and the linens were very nice. My boys loved their bunk beds and slept so well. The curtain that separates the sleeping area from the rest of the apartment is a nice touch as it blocks out most of the light. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had breakfast there every morning. Everything was very clean as well. Our most favorite thing about the apartment though was the location! It was in such a cozy, local neighborhood with a playground 1 block away. There are so many cute restaurants and bars around, plus the kitchen supply area in one direction and Asakusa in the other. Plus, it's an easy subway ride to all the other neighborhoods.
The one and only thing I would recommend is to add a wash machine. Then it would really be perfect! But there is a convenient laundromat a few minutes away that we were able to use.

This accommodation's hosts are nothing but the most thoughtful and caring! They are so easy to approach and replies quickly when anything is needed. Their guesthouse is so clean and comfy and got everything you need, you can easily feel at home. OK Hashiba is less than a minute walk away, so convenient. It's also very near the Sumida Park and river. Tokyo Skytree can be clearly seen from the accommodation room's windows. We loved our stay so much!

Great location in Shinjuku - so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We were initially worried about the room (due to some bad reviews on booking.com), but ours was a decent size (for Japanese standards) and comfortable with our own private bathroom. Our room was also quiet and we had a great view of Shinjuku. The rooftop bar is also fantastic with amazing views! Would definitely return.
The apartment was very beautiful and extremely comfortable. A real luxury for a family of five, with three tweens. It was comforting to have somewhere private to decompress at the end of each busy day: with a Family Mart next door and a place to have some quiet tea at home. The apartment exceeded my expectations and I especially loved the bathrooms and window-screens.
The area is quiet, dignified and respectable. I felt very comfortable walking around at night with my children. It was easy to get around and find lovely places to eat nearby.

The price is possibly the cheapest "private" room in Tokyo. If you're looking for cheap, this is it.

Considering the price, it's a great deal! I love that the bed space is private and there's even extra space to store some things. The bed is comfortable, too. As for the location, even though it's not in the city center and a bit out of the way, it's in a very quiet and nice neighborhood.
