The service is top notch, super kind lady who gave us a tour and recommended some great local spots for food and things to do up north in Nara. Really nice hostel for a great price. I'm writing this review from an awesome hammock in the common area, highly recommend.

- Comfortable rooms, beds, and common area. The bed was very soft and everyone slept great.
- Host was very kind and communicative both before we arrived and while we were there.
- Since we arrived later at night, the host asked if we’d like to take a bath. While this isn’t uncommon, it’s always a really nice gesture and I appreciated it. The bath itself was great too!
- The kitchen is spacious and a nice gathering area, there’s even available food you can cook for breakfast, which was a nice option to have. I don’t see that very often.
- Good wifi!
- View from the room was beautiful, especially at night!

It was close to the train station. We arrived early and dropped off our luggages and the staff were super friendly and helped us bring them in and clean the wheels. We also rented bikes for a super good deal and rode around town. It was really clean and spacious.
The 100-year old Guest house Naramachi offers simple Japanese-style accommodations just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyobate Train Station. The property is completely nonsmoking.

The host is extremely kind and very helpful. He helped us plan our visits in Nara and told us about special events happening in the city. He also explained the history of the house. The room looks exactly like the pictures and is spotless. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who wishes to experience a traditional Japanese stay.

This is a neat place to be. very comfortable, clean, easy navigation in JR nara station and kintetsu.
Mr Kaede is always there to help and answer all my questions. He also bought me some boxes and packaging tape because I didnt have enough space in my luggage.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The place was very quiet and so clean that I felt that I had to be very careful. It was great that I could use the kitchen to cook meals. Very thankful for the rides from and to the train station. Highly recommended.
