Romey and his wife greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us the nice modern rooms and all facilities. The cute little three room hotel is quite modern and well equipped. Downstairs is a bar and communal area which is accessible 24hrs. I enjoyed Romey’s draft beer and chatting with him, his wife and the other guests.
The location is beside the beach and quite quiet, but easy to walk into the nearby small shopping area. There is a local rail station to access Shizuoka itself.
We had a great meal of sashimi in a small restaurant next to the harbour.
Romey was extremely helpful for the few days we were staying. It was a lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a different side of Japanese life to the usual tourist destinations

The owner and his wife were very friendly. They let us read all their manga and even lent us their bicycles, which allowed us to see all kinds of different thing in Shizuoka.
The place had a very relaxing traditional japanese feeling, which we really enjoyed.
They let us use all the facilities like the kitchen and fridge, so we could have even cooked our own dinner.
Location was great as well, since we had the bicycles, the beach wasn't far.
All that for a very cheap price.
I can only recommend staying here if you are in Shizuoka!!!

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The size and design of the room was exceptional. It was equipment like a luxurious hotel but was really cheap. Near the Catsle of Shizuoka and only 15/20min walking from the station.
