This place was very cozy and beautiful. Near the college, but tucked back in a quiet corner. There was so much nice consideration put into everything. I especially loved having everyone's name on a board (I'm particularly bad with names), comfy slippers with your name on it, and the moto exchange!

It was very cozy. They also serve dinner and breakfast so you could see some people eating before going to work or to sleep and it was quite nice, even just hearing their conversations or looking at their outfits. The facilities were traditional and authentic.

The location. Capsule bed was pretty good.. Hook and hanging for clothes in the bathroom.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
I spent two nights in Niigata and opted for this charming little guesthouse. The rooms are a little larger than capsules, but comfortable enough, and all spaces are kept very clean. The guesthouse is filled with Ghibli memorabilia and fun board games, and the neighborhood itself is a cool place to visit. Wish I could have met the dog, Kuku!
Great location about 5 minutes from the station. Rooms are larger than usual for APA hotels, although still small. The on-site Japanese restaurant was great.
An excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options that would easily satisfy any palette. Great salad and meat options as well as the curry and fish options. I really enjoyed the breakfast.
While the hotel is a bit dated in its design, it has an old grand luxury feeling to it and the staff were very polite and friendly; you could tell they really took pride in their hotel. I felt like I was at a 5 star hotel with the level of service provided. It has a wonderful feel and the rooms felt comfortable.
