It was situated in a quiet area very close to the Higashi Chaya District. It Car-May was an exceptional host who was both thoughtful and informative. He suggested activities we could do and restaurants that provided us with some wonderful experiences. The room was great- comfortable beds and the biggest shower room we encountered in our stay in Japan.
We chose the Japanese breakfasts and they were delicious! Every day was a different menu with multiple dishes, ingredient sourced from his farm, and he took great care to accomodate my daughter’s dietary limitations. We certainly looked forward to discovering what he was serving each morning!

Everything about this place was perfect. The attention to detail put into this place is incredible, from the common room to the bathroom, to the bedroom. The location of this accommodation was also very handy, being a very close walk from the Sakurabashi bus stop of the Kanazawa Loop Bus. We wish we could have stayed for longer. Would highly recommend.

It felt so incredible to stay in a traditional teahouse of the preserved District, knowing the specific history of the teahouse. The accommodation was very spacious and so beautiful. Staff was super helpful and always assisted quickly when needed, the recommended restaurants were excellent (we tried three different ones, and we had the best food of our trip in Kanazawa). The host kindly helped us book them.

You actually rent the whole house and it’s amazing. A very well located house in the center of Kanazawa, a few min walking to all important spots. The house is clean, bright and Japanese style. 200% recommended
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Everything was faultless. The location within the quiet UNESCO village was fantastic. The building had real character. The owners were super friendly and extremely welcoming. The meals were exceptional consisting of a whole range of fresh local ingredients prepared to a kaiseki standard. The futon was very comfortable with an added mattress beneath. We felt completely at home. This place is well worth the money. The highlight of our 10 day Hokuriku trip.
The hosts were incredibly kind and heartwarming, as well as helpful when needed. We felt very welcomed. The house is beautiful and cozy. The shared kitchen was well equipped. The village is lovely, remote but quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.
They have many bathrooms, a lounge room and a small kitchen. I was staying alone that night so they upgraded me to a private room for no cost. They also offered to drive me to the bus stop, I found it very kind and thoughtful. The family is very kind, the place is very clean and the environment is very cozy, I am very glad I visited them.
the first night dinner was very good. the place was cery clean, well managed and spacious. it wasn’t crowded when we were there so it was quiet and peaceful.
