Guest House Miyazu Kaien - Vacation STAY 99191, hotel in Miyazu

Guest House Miyazu Kaien - Vacation STAY 99191 is located in Miyazu, 3.2 km from Chionji Temple, 7.4 km from Yumikiro Castle Ruins, as well as 7.6 km from Itanami Plate Row Park.

This guesthouse is a breath of fresh air as a change to bland hotel rooms - its an old-style house stay. It is very chill, quiet (only woken by the sound of birds by the river) and spacious (we had the room with 5 beds and living area). There is a fully equipped kitchen you can use, bathroom for guests, 5 minutes stroll to restaurants, and 20 mins to Amanohashidate resort by boat, bus or train. The owner ‘granny’ is a great character who could handle my poor Japanese/sign language and made us feel very welcome.

Amanohashidate Youth Hostel, hotel in Miyazu

Set in Miyazu in the Kyoto region with Amanohashidate Beach and Manai Shrine nearby, Amanohashidate Youth Hostel features accommodation with access to a public bath.

My stay at the hotel was a very disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was met with an unpleasant and unfriendly reception from the staff, who seemed disinterested and impatient. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was viewed solely as a source of income. The staff's attitude was cold and unaccommodating, and they completely ignored my request for an early check-in. Additionally, the hotel did not look anything like the photos online. The walls were peeling, and the overall condition of the place was neglected and run-down. If you’re looking for a place that values and respects its guests while providing a pleasant experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

CAFE & BB guri, hotel in Miyazu

Offering city views, CAFE & BB guri is an accommodation located in Ine, 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine and 17 km from Daijyouji Temple.

The location of course is excellent, but aside from that, the interior is so well designed and feels so peaceful. The cafe downstairs is also very cool. The owners did an incredible job with this place. It is my favourite accommodation I've ever stayed in.

Kanzaki Beach House, hotel in Miyazu

Situated in Kanzaki, within 20 km of Maizuru Brick Park and 26 km of Kongoin Temple, Kanzaki Beach House features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

I’m so so so happy I decided to stay at the Kanzaki Beach House! This is more of an experience than just a please to sleep. Both the property and the surroundings are stunning. The vibes are calming, grounding and open minded. I stayed two nights in the female dorm and met loads of cool warm people. Ate beautiful dinners with everyone, enjoyed sunset beach walks and took the train to Amanohashidate – highly recommend!

Walking distance from Amanohashidate Station. Staff are very friendly as helpful. They picked us from the station (only) and offer to deliver your luggage to the station at stipulated timings. There's a lovely cosy lounge where you can have coffee and just relax or play chess! They also guided me on how to get to Ine village and back. Overall a great stay with a private hotspring right within your room!
