What an incredible place to have stay. We feel so lucky to have met the hosts and been able to stay in this amazing home. Staying here is just an incredible experience, the home is stunning and fun to explore, the views are great and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a more remote location, so it’s very peaceful. The couple running たね are so very kind, and their cooking is exceptional. Breakfast was so delicious. We wish we spoke better Japanese so we could have talked more. They were such interesting people.

Such a beautiful, remote, relaxing accommodation option at the foot of Mount Aso in a very quiet area and away from tourists. The hosts were also so amazing, in displaying the ultimate in Japanese hospitality. The stroll to Takezaki Spring was the most zen thing I have done on this trip (9th visit). You can have a choice of a bed or futon.
The room literally has everything you need. Private scenic view from the bath and the room. Very peaceful countryside. Had a really good sleep. The host was friendly and welcoming.
