The guesthouse is located in a quaint little town. The host is very friendly and she shared a lot about the area and the stories behind some of the attractions. There was a kitchen and washing machine that could be used, and the shower worked fine. There were also guitars and hammocks in the common area.

Such a beautiful, remote, relaxing accommodation option at the foot of Mount Aso in a very quiet area and away from tourists. The hosts were also so amazing, in displaying the ultimate in Japanese hospitality. The stroll to Takezaki Spring was the most zen thing I have done on this trip (9th visit). You can have a choice of a bed or futon.
The room literally has everything you need. Private scenic view from the bath and the room. Very peaceful countryside. Had a really good sleep. The host was friendly and welcoming.
