RUMa INN Rokugoudote, hotel in Tokyo

Offering a garden and quiet street view, RUMa INN Rokugoudote is located in Tokyo, 4.8 km from Uramori Inari Shrine and 4.9 km from Tokujo-ji Temple.

The location was great - really close to the station and close to the vibrant area of Kawasaki. This was also a great place from which to take day trips to Kamakura and Yokohama, and it wasn't too far from Shinagawa for the Shinkansen to Osaka and Kyoto etc. I found the beds to be comfy and I liked that the rooms were private, as it is hard to find such places in Tokyo at this pricepoint. It was great that there was a washer and dryer available to use and kitchen facilities too. The wifi was fast enough for me to do my work (including some video calls) and the place was pretty peaceful overall, though some guests were quite inconsiderate and noisy at times and the walls and doors offer little sound proofing. Nonetheless, it was quite a cosy, peaceful little sanctuary to return to after long days of walking around Tokyo.

Great staff. 10/10 ✨ - The hostel had a very cozy vibe. You could tell how much care and effort the owners put into it. They even provided free hot water bottles in case it got cold at night (though it wasn’t too cold - room temperature was perfect). - The beds were very comfortable. - Everything was super clean. They also have a no-shoes policy but provide cute slippers for free. :)

MKG Home・芝, hotel in Tokyo

Situated in the centre of Tokyo, 1.6 km from Shinbashi Shiogama Shrine and 1.6 km from Seishoji Temple, MKG Home・芝 offers free WiFi and air conditioning.

Wonderful apartments, spacious (for Japan) in a nice quiet neighbourhood, but with a supermarket and coffee shop around the corner. It has everything we need including USB and USB-C ports in power outlets so we didn't need an adapter to charge phones/laptop. The host left us some Holiday treats which is also nice :)

Very funky new renovation in warehouse style, friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet and peaceful gazing across river at the fisherpeople, airport and lights of Tokyo in the background. And just a few minutes taxi or shuttle from Haneda airport (don’t bother booking private taxi - taxi from terminal much cheaper and shuttle bus back from hotel easy)

We landed Tokyo at night, so we decided to stay here. Just 7 minutes by taxi from the airport, which costs around 1400 yen. Excellent breakfast with beef, fish, rice, miso soup, omelette, juice, etc. Daily necessities (cleanser, lotion, hairband, etc.) were all provided. Public bath open until midnight. (There's a private shower in our room.) Very beautiful airport view, just across the river.

The rooms were old. Nothing flashy. However they were clean, quiet and well located. Bed wasn't as hard as some Japanese hotel beds. Price was cheap

Great location, short walk to JR station, near the shopping street and many restaurants but still very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. The breakfast voucher is for the cafe downstairs, which is good quality.

This is probably not the newest hotel in Kawasaki but that doesn't affect its service quality... Affordable price, clean and quiet room, very friendly and helpful staff, accessibility of additional services (such as laundromat) and a great location near the rail and bus station (only 5 min of walk). They also offer to keep your luggage after the checkout, until you leave town. Definitely a great stay.
