Very cozy and had everything we needed. Yoshi-san (the host) was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was spacious which is always great. There’s an onsen that’s available along with a jacuzzi as well. The hotel was an experience of its own.

Wonderful hospitable owner who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The property has a bicycle rental where you can rent either electric or regular bicycles to explore the surrounding area. WiFi worked well. Futons were cozy and the place itself was cozy in Japanese style. Despite the heat, we stayed nice in cool as the air conditioning worked wonderfully.

Facilities were spotless, quiet capsules- I was there in a very quiet time thought so weren’t many others staying at the same time, great location and felt very safe. Lawson also right next door.
We stayed in a luxury tent in Kawaguchiko after climbing Mt. Fuji, and it was the perfect place to relax. The tent comfortably accommodated four people and had an equipped kitchen and barbecue. The private toilet was a bonus, and the shared bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The location in the middle of the forest, with birds singing and spectacular views of the lake and Mt. Fuji, made it an extremely relaxing experience. Highly recommended for nature lovers!
Great location for views of My. Fuji. Excellent breakfast buffet and evening buffet to match. Shuttle bus to railway station even though it is only 10 minutes easy walk away. Very quiet. Helpful staff. Good facilities.
The Kaiseki dinner we had on both nights were amazing. Love how much effort was put into ensuring our dinner is enjoyed thoroughly in our hotel room. The room was huge as well and there’s definitely lots of space to open up both our huge luggage. Private onsen was a plus for both my husband and I, it was quiet, clean and spacious with all the amenities you require. Especially enjoyed the open onsen space for soaking our legs while Mt Fuji basked in the sun in the background.
The location was a bit far from the train station but it was very private and quiet. You will have whole view of Mount Fuji for yourself, the feeling is unique, unlike when you are somewhere in town, when the view of Mt Fuji is “distracted” by other landscapes. We could also enjoy the view of Kawaguchiko lake. In general, we would choose again Fuji View Hotel next time if we go back.
Public bath was very clean and comfortable.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great location, with beautiful views of both Mt Fuji and the lake behind the hotel. Breakfast room offered viewing of both. Excellent breakfast buffet. Private onsen was great and easy to book. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Would stay again if we were in the area.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, great facilities (rooftop foot spa with beautiful view of Mount Fuji, massage and beauty services, private onsen hire), welcome tea ceremony, gift for our honeymoon. great location, many staff spoke English, able to ship our bags to next hotel.
Charming hotel with a lovely feel and welcoming staff, it's a great location for the Kawaguchiko ropeway and you can easily walk to the hotel in 15 minutes from the station using Google maps. I recommend you plan in advance regarding dinner as it's a pretty quiet place and a lot of restaurants close early.
I loved my hotel room as it had traditional tatami flooring and I also had a great view of the lake.
Staff very friendly and helpful, I hope to stay again.
