Great location in Dana Village. The heater provided is a must in December!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very quaint hotel in Dana Village, right at the start of the Wadi Dana trail. We booked the budget room but received a upgrade to one with a terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner helped us arrange a private transfer to Madaba at a very low cost. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
The Hobbits village is a charming retreat in a fantastic location. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms are quiet and true to the pictures, offering a cozy atmosphere. The small size adds to its charm, making it a delightful getaway destination.
The hotel is situated on a quiet street in Dana, exuding an authentic personality that is intriguing, though it might appear slightly eerie to some. Each room is unique; one might be cozy and well-lit, while another could be a bit dark and in need of some maintenance.
The overall atmosphere is informal and ideal for accommodating large groups of hikers or solo travelers seeking to make new acquaintances.
I loved the atmosphere of the place, quiet and charming.
You feel like at home thanks also to Mousa, the owner, who welcome us with a warm smile and a really nice tea. The first night we had also a yummy dinner cooked by his mum.
He really cared that our stay was perfect all the time.
The room was really small but I didn’t mind it because it was clean, cozy and anyway we spent all time outside hiking and enjoying the beautiful view of the Wadi Dana.
Really recommend this experience.
Moussa is a great host, he helped us from the start with tips to arrange our trip to Dana, and was really welcoming and very friendly. We had a great stay in Dana, the place is quaint and basic but with everything you need and perfectly located, with beautiful surroundings, great for hiking. Next time I hope to stay longer and do day hikes in Dana with Moussa as a guide!
Great location with a awesome view. I would highly recommend the explore Dana sunset tour. It's a 2 hour hike to a great view point, you watch privately the sunset and eat food in the wilderness to watch the stars.
Friendly owners, great location with nice sunset. The room has a private bathroom with hot shower and the owners made sure we could watch the world cup football during the evening, that was so kind. The wifi works well even in our room and they have power sockets in the rooms as well (not so common in Jordan). This is a new camp so it is still small which is something we really like. Make sure to walk (a part of) the Wadi Ghuweir trail for stunning green views!
