Our stay at Giglio guest house far exceeded our expectations, so much so that we extended our stay one additional night. The hosts were wonderful! From suggestions and best tips to get around to great service during breakfast while we overlooked the never ending ocean. We 110% recommend this beautiful little escape to anyone visiting the Cinque Terre area.

The room was very clean and well appointed with everything you would need. The manager was quite friendly and helpful, responsive to our questions and needs. The location near the train station and near Piazza Garibaldi with many restaurants and shops was ideal for us, but there was no train noise in the room. We highly recommend!

The proprietor Paolo was extremely responsive--really could not have asked for a better host. He also had great recommendations for how to see Cinque Terre, where to eat, etc.
We stayed in a room with a Terrace and a Sea View. The view is primarily of the buildings across the way. Very colorful and picturesque. The Terrace is AMAZING. It was on the top floor of our suite. We had many lovely meals there. No sunset views though--the window opens to the east I think
I had no idea we could swim in the sea, silly me. Bring a swimsuit if that is your thing!
And if hiking is your thing, bring appropriate hiking shoes! (See below).

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Situated away from the madness of Manarola, this 3 bedroom apartment provided a much needed resting place for 4 adults and a baby. The Host was great and met us on arrival, helping us with our suitcases from the private parking spot.
Location, quiet place, trails to Corniglia and Manarola, shuttle bus to Manarola and Riomaggiore, the owner and his friendly, supportive and perfect care with good advices.
Awesome spot in Volastra. One of the more quiet towns in Cinque Terre which we really enjoyed. Andrea was a great host and the room was comfy and as described. We had a car and it was also one of the easier towns to get too. Would recommend staying here!
Great location on the hiking trails above the Cinque Terre. About 30 mins walk to the sea. There is a bus back up. The apartment itself is comfortable and has a small balcony with a sea view - just enough room for two. Communication with the owners was quick and easy, and we were met at the apartment as arranged. A good choice for those looking for a quieter stay (the five villages were very busy).
Looking at the sunset from your balcony, is really something awesome. If it’s on Le 5 terre, that’s even more!
