An excellent location. Very short walk to the train station, ferry and town’s restaurants and shops. The host was very kind and accommodating. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The snacks, fresh fruit and wine were most appreciated and so thoughtful. We especially enjoyed being able to sit out in the private side yard under the patio umbrella during a rainfall and enjoy a glass of Italian wine.
Valerio and family met us at the train station and helped with bags and transportation to accommodation, the apartment was very clean and the facilities were very comfortable. The apartment is in great location, 3 minute walk from the train station and very close to ferry terminal. Varenna was our favourite location on the lake, Valerio and family were great hosts and made our stay all the more enjoyable, I highly recommend this apartment to families or couples travelling together.

Charming accommodation and a great location in beautiful Varenna. We loved staying in this traditional apartment. The hosts were really helpful and friendly and clear with their instructions on accessing the accommodation. We had a problem with one of our keys to the room, but the hosts responded immediately and all was sorted really quickly. We would stay here again.

We had such a great stay in Varenna at this apartment. Not only was it in such a perfect (and quiet) location, but it had everything you needed to make it that much more comfortable including the private courtyard. Attilio was such a great host, thanks again for having us!
Everything. Great location. Great view. Great sleep. Great host. Just a spectacular quaint place to stay. We absolute loved the place and the area.
Was easy to find and there was parking available. You do need to pay for it during day hours. This was not a problem for us as we were aware that the property does not have parking and we were lucky to get to park close by and walk/ferry everywhere.
Varenna is a great little town and we can highly recommend visiting and staying at the Villa Toretta.
