A good fairy for a hostess who went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. We had the King and Queen room, with a terrace. beautiful bathroom and a large walk-in closet

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Ca'stello 23 is run by a very nice couple with a cute dog. It is their private home but there is so much space that they beautifully furnished several rooms upstairs that they are now offering for rent. Martina, the lady of the house, is one of the most caring people you can imagine. The breakfast buffet she prepared was amazing and she even gave us loads of cookies and sweets as an anniversay gift to take with us for the rest of our journey. It's a pity that we couldn't stay more than one night.
Location quite rural so car is a must as the place is away from everything. But very good restaurants and supermarket available within 5-10 mins driving. Very old villa sympathetically restored with modern amenities with a big central courtyard. Not for everyone's taste but we enjoyed the wilderness. More like a big family setting than a proper hotel. Rooms are very well furnished. Great hostess who can guide with all your questions.
Everything was perfect! Andrea is the most kind, helpful and attentive man in the world:) The apartment itself is fully comfortable - including air conditioning, Netflix, parking place. The neighborhood is really quiet and safe. 5 minutes on foot to the railway station and 15 to Bologna by train! Great base for exploring the surrounding area, I definitely recommend!:)
Quiet and secluded, about 2 min drive to the station to catch the train to Bologna. Fabulous hosts Martina and Luca - wonderful breakfast and plenty of it! Free secure parking.

Great county-side place to relax and deep breath. Amazing staff - specially Barbara who was very responsive and charming and with excellent recommendations for excellent and special restaurants. She also advised about local points to visit in Bologna. We will sure visit again!
