Porto Venere is a hidden gem, less known and promoted than Cinque Terre. While it can be a bit tricky to reach by car, it’s absolutely worth the effort—and Torre a Mare stands out as the best accommodation in the area. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, showers were good and breakfast was nice. The rooms all have a terrace, which would be great if the weather is good.

Portovenere is a great location to visit the Cinque Terre. The house was clean and our host was very proactive in communication. In our opinion a nice place to stay with wonderful views. The private parking was a real bonus.
