It was a pleasant surprise - not a room but huge apartment actually, with all appliances you may need ! One can prepare and have breakfast in the room at convenient time - host provides you with pastry, jam, bottled water, yogurt, milk… coffee from the coffee maker was excellent! Parking place in front of the building, with train station few minutes away. Lugano is 25 minutes by car. Highly recommended to explore the lakes area.

A very nice villa with a magnificent garden, very elegantly furnished. Riccardo is very friendly and attentive and the breakfast is very good and more rich than typical Italian breakfasts. You can have breakfast in the sumptuous living room or outside next to the garden.

Great staff, great location. Outdoors pétanque area, with playing balls freely available. If you're into birds, the owner / caretaker (?) has got lots around, is passionate about them, and will be more than happy to talk about it (in either Italian, or French).
Nice breakfast buffet included (dairy free milk and vegan croissants can be provided instead of standard ones if the request is made in advance).
If you've got a tent, you can pitch it in the garden / yard.

The room and bathroom had everything we needed, everything was very clean and organised. The breakfast was so nice, in the cutest space and with a good variety of options. The coffee was delicious! The house itself is something to admire, the original architecture, decoration, then there's a big fridge and kitchen available... Paolo was really hospitable and the BnB itself was in a beautiful sprawling garden really close to the heart of the Varese city. Quite splendid for a family run place.
The amenities are on point .. toiletries, nice shower, access 24/7, choice of coffee, little refreshments, thought off breakfast, the two doggo's and so on.
They were lovely to lend me a bike which I really was able to use to get around. A little smaller for 5'10" and two different valve types on the tires but enjoyed having the choice to nip about.
The attention to detail was something you'd expect from a star hotel like the folding of the toilet paper, she really went beyond on service. There was a wee TV in the room too which was handy for a night in (all Italian channels but comforting with a wide variety).
There's ample place to park your car too.
This is a nice quiet place and something I would recommend going to again if I were in Varese that's close to your shops, restaurants, church, bar etc. and a short bus away from Sacro monte di Varese

First -- this is a GREAT place to bring dogs; there is a trail from the hotel up a local wooded hill that my very nervous dogs find restful and, well, useful, which is rare for them on trips.
The room is wonderful, balcony and restaurant views spectacular. Comfy and quiet, very snug.
All was great. It is brand new building and all facilities. Floors with heating, good furnished kitchen, designed for comfort - there is wonderful backyard with lakeish view. It is private closed territory. Great WiFi. We plan to back there some time- so got it was.

We have appreciated the secured parking, fresh/airco temperature in the appartements and the residence in general with a very quiet atmosphere.
The real game changer was the view (with the pool and yacht deck) that makes it a unique place.
Probably the closest Italian town to Lugano. Very nice and clean. Well equipped, there is also dryer machine. The host left for us a bottle of sparkling wine, pasta + sauce, two bottles of soft drinks and a bottle of sparkling water. Private parking under the house, but it is not big , we had Jeep Renegade that fitted but bigger car may not fit there. There is a supermarket nearby.
