Everything about our stay at Santino's House was way above and beyond anything we expected. Leandro is a professionally trained chef and his breakfasts were a visual and scrumptious delight. He is an artist and everything about the property reveals his discerning eye and hand. He recommended two restaurants; the first a simple bistro owned by two charming sisters; the second, Trattoria della Posta, a fine dining place in the hills above Peveragno; both wonderful. We were the first American guests at each of these. He recommended hikes in the Pesio valley; ascend along the right side for the best mountain views and trout counting in the deep clear pools. Peveragno is not a tourist town though it has a charming medieval center.

Calm location out of city center, but with all you need within 10 minutes ride including Cuneo city center. Free parking spot inside the yard. Fenced garden so the kids could not run away. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were very polite and friendly.
