The property was exceptionally clean and the owners provided a lovely breakfast each morning and early checkin. There was also a lounge that we relaxed in so we weren’t just confined to our bedroom the whole time. Steep stairs not suitable for everyone but we were fine Abd the owners even helped with the luggage.

The accommodation was great: nice layout of the room and all facilities provided ( including coffee machine with free capsules and fridge/minibar), breakfast/dining common area with free drinking water dispenser and other facilities, very good location (in city center, supermarket very close, free public parking possible in the area if spots available). The host was very nice and helping. Should mention the salty part of the breakfast (prosciutto, cheese and toast bread), which for us was a nice addition to the typical Italian breakfast. We and the kids were very pleased, thanks a lot!

We were recommended this B&B by some fellow travelers at another hotel. This is a new B&B and the staff are fabulous and helpful. The location is a little out of town but easy to get anywhere. We rented bikes from Superbikes in the Ortona Port and did the cycle track to see the Trabocchi Fishing platforms. A great easy flat ride. We stopped for a swim and then stopped for lunch at Trattoria Di Mare Il Frantoio for a simple and delicious lunch. In Ortona we walked around at castle at sunset which was beautiful. We had dinner at Tanam-Bé a local restaurant 7 minutes away. A busy and fun restaurant serving pizzas and local Abruzzo food.

The apartment is in a terrific location on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle but with the castle and the promenade a few paces away. The apartment itself is comfortable, spacious, well equipped, recently restored as far as one can tell and tastefully decorated. It's perfect for a couple staying for a few days in the area. The bar Carpe Diem in the nearby piazza is a great pit stop for morning coffee, pastries and fresh fruit plate and of course for evening aperitivi. Lots of good places to eat in the town.
