Fillipo is a wonderful host and guide. Each breakfast was wonderful. The accommodation was very suitable for a 'beach' holiday. The proximity to the beach, shops and the bus was great.

My advice would be to leave the car on the mainland as the islands bus service and walking paths make it the perfect pedestrian holiday.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hotel is located up the hill from the charming little port, with sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The hotel provided shuttle service to the beach and to the port where there are many services and restaurants. We chose to walk to one of the loveliest of the beaches, maybe a half mile away, and took the island bus system (efficient, quick) to one of the others. The hotel staff graciously and cheerfully accommodated all of our needs.
This hotel is fabulous, it is situated right in front of the ocean so you can fall asleep listening to the sea breeze. The room was very spacious and comfortable with luxury toiletries provided. The breakfast was small, but all local produce and delicious - although it would be good to switch it up after a few days. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back in Giglio!
Great location for Giglio Porto and beaches. Big room and bathroom, no frills, perfect for us, low maintenance middle aged couple:).

Great location - walking distance to Porto and to Arenella beach with hotel shuttle services to bring you back up the hill. Bus stop outside the gates for Castello and Campese. Sea views, friendly staff, good food at the restaurant.
We already knew the island very well, so the great location was not a surprise. Apart from the amazing view and the feeling of being right at the heart of Giglio life, the apartment is very convenient, being immediately above a grocery shop, bakery and my husband's favourite gelateria! The decor is lovely, and everything was in good working order.
