It has a very convenient location to lake Braies where we started our Alta Via 1 hiking. The hotel was fine. It is very Austrian/German looking. The breakfast was great.

The property is family owned and rooms are newly remodeled. The family staff take great pride in their place and their hospitality. The bathroom was literally gleaming. There was a balcony with lounge chairs and a mountain and castle view. It is quiet, well decorated, very comfortable beds. They provide a bottle of spring water. Get it with half board as you are in the countryside with no restaurants or plan ahead. The food is all made from scratch, fresh, and tasty. There is only one item per course. The salad bar was lovely and varied. We only stayed one night but would return happoo up by. Everything was very nice.

Just WOW. You would really enjoy the place if you like cozy atmosphere where you have everything you need. Everything is very clean and tidy. The place is beautiful in a quiet place and beautiful scenery. It should be taken into account that if you have any leg issue tell them before you come because there is no lift.
