It was amazing, could not recommend enough. The owners were so helpful and hospitable and gave us recommendations for the town. They also showed us the way by car from the town square. Amazing happy people and the most beautiful town enclosed by mountains.

Carla is great and friendly host. Her guesthouse is located quite near the old part of Castrovillari (5 minutes walk). It is part of the old building and the room has beautiful old wooden ceiling. The room is clean, spacious and can accommodate up to four persons. It is located on the ground floor with small windows but it was not a problem for me. Inside is everything needed. Breakfast is served in the room itself and you can choose type of products to be delivered. All was tasty. Taking all above comments into consideration the price for the room is resonable and competitive. There was no private parking but there are a lot of free space around and you can park even by the guesthouse. It is good guesthouse for one transit night as well as for longer stay as a base to explore northern Calabria and Pollino National park.
Thank you Carla for everything!

The host and her sister, went above and beyond upon our arrival to make us feel welcome and relaxed. Both ladies were exceptionally friendly and helpful in helping us to organise further travel beyond our stay with them and gave us recommendations for great places to eat as we weren’t staying in the town long all of this in such a short space of time was certainly appreciated.
Thank you both!

The breakfast was plentiful though leaned heavily on pastry/ bread. Would have liked some cheese /egg/ meat.
The property was very clean and well maintained inside by Agnese, the person looking after us who went beyond the call of duty on my behalf. ❤️

Apartment is in a beautiful quiet place, has a terrace which we liked very much. But if you go to the village center, then you'll have to go uphill all the time 🙂 And the streets are very narrow. So it was a challenge to reach the apartment by car.
Lovely classic little bed and breakfast located in the heart of Civita. Lovely spacious room with a balcony. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Traditional breakfast supplied which has loads to choose from. Definitely recommend and would stay again!
We loved everything about this beautiful accommodation and the host Mara, it was luxury with some much care given to its guests, the hospitality was outstanding, the food even more so, the breakfast was fit for a King and Queen and we were made to feel like one. There was parking for the car, the town was beautiful friendly with historical walks close by, we dined in a local restaurant and had an amazing meal and exceptional bottle of wine ( restaurant was called Kamastra)
At the quiet corner of Civita, with excellent view and close to a public fountain to refill your water bottles. Friendly host who cared about visitors and their property. Very enjoyable stay overall
Heaven on earth. Wonderful hosts -- really incredible hospitality. View from room and breakfast room beyond belief. An absolutely charming situation. We will be back.
Mara provides the best breakfast I have ever had in Italy. Wonderful bread with a perfectly fried egg, frise with chopped tomatoes, hams, cheeses, 6 different different cakes and pastries, fresh fruit salad, thick yoghurt piped into a rose with strawberry petals, fresh orange juice and excellent coffee.
She is a lovely hostess, friendly and knowledgeable and a great cook to boot. The room was comfortable and well decorated and I woke to a view of La Sentinella, the crag that looks down over Mara's B&B
Quiet location on the edge of town, yet walkable from the center. Very near walking paths and viewpoints of the gorge. The breakfast items were fresh or freshly-made, and quite plentiful. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
