Unexpectedly fabulous for so many reasons. Firstly the basics… easy parking right outside, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, value for money, super quiet, spacious room, fabulous breakfast, walking distance to a quaint square perfect for dinner. But this description wouldn’t do it justice.
Our room was divine. The layout, decoration and attention to detail was truly fabulous. The photos don’t do it justice. Every square inch of the place is spotless, decorated with ornate furniture mixed with traditional pieces and homely ornaments that add character.
The owners live on site and prepared the most delicious breakfast ‘feast’ of carefully selected foods to suit every palette- sweet, savoury, hot & cold, fresh daily, served on a trolley individually prepared for you in a kitchen dining area adding to that home experience. The street is safe, quiet, ample parking which suited us as we used it as a base to drive out to neighbouring areas. The owners used Google translate to make sure to give us correct information and communicate in a way that made us feel completely welcome. We were able to store our luggage after checkout for several hours before heading off on the rest of our trip.
This place is a quaint little gem and I’m so glad we chose this option over a hotel experience. 10/10!

Everything was excellent, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The cleanliness was exceptional, the host (Emma) was the nisest and the most caring. The breakfast was fenomenal, so much choice and very delicious. Location is wonderful, close to the historical center (4mins), to the supermarkets (1-2mins/2-7mins) to the coast and beaches (15mins). Comfort is at the highest level, and the pillows were so fine, I would like to have such at home. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay a lot. Castro is sure a place to visit and fall in love with, and B&B La Perla is surely recommended for stay. Grazie mille, Emma!

Claudia was lovely and was available and responsive to questions as well as giving recommendations for restaurants and sights. Lovely balcony, large bedroom with good powerful shower. Great location in between marina and old town (although on a steep hill).
I liked the design of those new apartments. It was very comfortable, quiet and the apartment was actually big. The staff was great. Claudia explained perfectly how everything worked and gave us her full availability for anything we needed during our stay.

This is the cleanest hotel
I have seen in my life. The owner did everything possible to make my stay pleasant and even drove me to the bus stop after my stay. The breakfast was fantastic with cheese, salami, eggs, fresh fruits and homemade pastries/cakes. The location is in a quiet street but close to the historic centre and the room has a balcony with a sea view.
Charming place just by the water. Lovley host and great breakfast! Big plus is the small private rocky beach. A beautiful house and well kept garden. I highly recommend this place!
