Francesca was an extraordinary host, like having a good friend welcoming you into their home. In addition to having a beautiful setting, with great views, and delicious wine nearby, two extraordinary things happened during our stay. First, we called her at 9pm asking if we could check in later that night (a day early!) because our other hotel had closed their reception at 7pm and refused to let us in. She literally saved us, staying up until 12:30am to let us in after a very long drive. Second, we had a small baby with us and needed to hire a babysitter for one evening. She kept watch over the babysitter and was ready to jump in if anything went wrong -- reassuring us that she was a volunteer for the red cross so was well qualified to help. She even surprised us with an avocado for our daughter Charlotte, after seeing that she enjoyed one we had brought with us. Francesca is simply a wonderful, thoughtful, caring person and this shines through in everything she does.

We enjoyed very much the charming country house, beautifully situated in the Piemontese hills, still not too far from bakery, supermarkets ... We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony and dinner at the very nice terrace. Very calm and quiet place with green surroundings.
Great location near the castle! Francesca is very kind and ready for help. Pool is not big, but clean and with beautiful view for the valley. The room is big for one person - very comfortable 😍

La Civignola is an absolute must for a stay in Piedmont. The beautiful domain is located on a hill with stunning views and the accompanying peace and quiet. Ivana and Giuseppe are very charming and lovely people who are happy to advise and assist you!
