I couldn’t have possibly asked for a better stay. First off, the owner Katrin is delightful, so bubbly and tentative. She gave us good hiking tips and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
Then we slept great in comfy beds with cotton sheets and feather blankets and pillows. The rooms are outfitted with locally made skincare products! You can buy them at the front desk.
Then…the piece de resistance was the breakfast. Great vegetarian options, and the müsli bar was unreal. Also like 20 types of fresh fruit (kiwi, pineapple, watermelon, passionfruit, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, oranges etc etc). She makes you a cappuccino on the espresso machine with local milk.
Then you get to enjoy her 7 types of homemade jam, so so good.
I feel like I want to keep this a best kept secret but its also too good not to write a stellar review.
Ill now be dreaming of this place when I return to my day job….

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hostes was so amazing. She was very invating and she gave us great info about the area so we got to see even the more private parts of this beatifull place. She was so kind we never had to worry about asking anything. And as a little plus her cooking was amazing as well. :)
Great location, very spacious setup of rooms. Good access to all nearby sights, hiking trails. Facilities (garage parking, laundry) super convenient. Small supermarket nearby, decent restaurant next door. Very clean apartment. Ladies doing the checking in spoke little English but sent instructions with pictures etc., which was effective. Really good value for money.

Location is great for scenic walks e.g. around lake Carezza. Also, many ski lifts to get to panoramic locations with stunning views.
Wii, the host (I hope I spelled it correctly), is an amazing host. We stayed at the property just after the reopening of the hotel. Wii made us feel very welcome; she was charming and cooked amazing food for us (you have to try her pad thai! It sent us right back to Thailand).
The view from the hotel is beautiful and the proximity to Carreza Lake is great.
*We had a nice stay with my wife and son. The reason we chose the hotel was its proximity to Lake Carezza. The hotel is 5 minutes from the lake.
