Staying at Poggio Baronti B&B was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. This charming property is nestled in the Tuscan hills, offering the perfect mix of countryside tranquility and proximity to Florence. We arrived by train and got a taxi to the property.
We loved the peaceful setting and incredible views from our room—it felt like a dream. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh, delicious options every morning. We didn’t rent a car and decided to use the bus system. The bus stop was about a 15-minute walk down a somewhat busy road, but we didn’t mind the walk as we enjoy walking everywhere and found the bus system easy to use. If you don’t want to walk uphill, you would probably need to rent a car for this area. Tommasso, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, even arranging an early morning taxi for us to catch our train. We appreciated his hospitality and the convenience of getting bus tickets from Bar Mario in town. We’ll absolutely stay here again when we return to Florence!

Wonderful and very kind hosts. They provided all the necessary information about staying and also other very useful information. The apartament is fully equipped to make you feel at home. Great location. Easy to get to the city center.
The property was everything it said it was - quiet, calm, tranquil, in nature, beautiful pool, and couple of hundred meters from a bus stop to the city centre. Marco was lovely, and helpful and always attentive. The concept is country style, laid back and no bling - homely and comfortable.
Good location - 10 min. by car to Florence city center. Convenient access to the highway enables a lot of possible trips through Tuscany. Great, picturesque facility and hospitality of owners. If You search for high quality stay in a quiet area this one is really cool.

Great location, very charming villa&buildings and park area for wonderful leisure time in the sun or under the many old trees. 20 minutes with hotel shuttle to Florence; amazing garden & pool area, with a wonderful view over the Arno river. We stayed in a very comfortable apartment, very nicely designed.
Wow, this place is BEAUTIFUL. We loved the calm feeling around the place and the quiet music playing around the property. Would call it a luxury agriturismo. The pool and the pool area was outstanding! The restaurant of the place; AL 588 is also worth a try. And do not forget to watch the evening light when the sun sets down in the landscape of Tuscany, wow!
A tip could be to have a car so that you have the possibility to check out the area nearby, as the place only have 1 restaurant 😊
Amazing location in the countryside, so quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the 24 mixed dorm which has two bed private cubes, perfect for traveling in pairs. Building was beautiful and hosts were awesome. Bus 23 takes you from the city centre towards Bagno A Ripoli. Then a 15 minute walk up a hill to a peaceful stay.
