The family that runs the place are so kind! They gave us advice about some amazing hikes nearby and they always helped us when we had any questions. The room was clean and outside was a nice space to sit in the evening and enjoy the sight. I only stayed for one night, but the host, Elisabetta, made me feel so welcome in their family home. The single room I had was extremely comfortable and quiet. My Italian is nonexistent, but Elisabetta went out of her way to make sure I understood what I needed to. Breakfast was fantastic and all homemade, delicious. Everything was perfect, Donatella was such a lovely host, she even prepared a breakfast to go when we went hiking really early.
The room was super modern, clean and the sauna + whirlpool was perfect after a long hiking day.

Hotel and restaurant buildings don't look attractive form outside. Quite old buildings, long time without renovation.
But entering inside changes everything.
Hotel room very clean, in classic style, rustically furnitured. bathroom clean as well.
In the restaurant very good food (including pizza).
Breakfast in the morning in continental style (croissant, coffee, some jams) but for additional 5 euro you may order sausages, scrambled eggs, set of local cheeses, mortadella etc.
I recommend the place to stay when you are visiting Dolomites and you don't want to loose a fortune for hotels in Cortina.
