Everything was great! Rooms are nice and clean, shared bathrooms on each floor *perfectly* clean. Breakfast is quiet interesting. There are a several rest rooms and one main dining area. Location is great, 15mins of driving from Egilsstadir. They also have a laundry service for a decent price.
Finnstaðir has barbecue facilities and a garden. A hot tub is available for guests. Free WiFi is offered. All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a TV.

The property was beautiful. Situated on a lovely hill with a gorgeous view of the mountains and horses in the back ground on your drive in. The house is right behind an airport but we experienced no problems with noise during the stay. The house also came with plenty of towels and a washer/dryer.

The price is right for what you get. This is like a shared home in an airbnb. It is an older ranch-style home in a small subdivision. The house is in a neighborhood with families in the surrounding houses. Our room overlooked the lake, which was great.

The staff was incredibly friendly, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very well-appointed, equipped with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.

Very cute yet surprisingly roomy cottages. We had a bungalow with private bathroom. Super clean, very welcoming, calmingly quiet after an active day. Kitchen has everything you need, and the surroundings are beautiful! We would definitely book this cottage again.

This is our favorite accommodation of the trip! We spent two nights here, but I'm sorry we didn't stay longer. The place is superb, and the people who live there are adorable. The place is quiet, very charming, the cottage is perfectly equipped, perfect for a couple. We enjoyed the barbecue and outdoor table. There are lots of birds, horses, cats...
