The beds were so comfy after a long roadtrip. Complimentary hot drinks and microwave available. We spotted the northern lights and the owners turned off the lights outside so that we could see them better. Breakfast was great and lots of choice. When we come back we'd love to stay here again.

Perfect location for our first night in Iceland easy drive from airport and got to see the northern lights too which was a great start to our trip! Great kitchen facilities that we took advantage off! Didn’t use the lovely out door seating area but it was so nicely laid out! Superb hosts

We love the breakfast. Hosts make sure that we had enough and they were attentive until we finish eating. The breakfast has everything, cereals, seeds, pancakes, eggs, bread, meats, and so on.
The place could be seen as little and simple but the truth is that once you are in, the ambient is very cozy, nice, clean and comfortable. Another thing is that is near from everywhere between the city, golden circle or if you need to go to the beach. Please not hesistate when the rooms are available. We really enjoy the sauna also!!! My family and I went to 3 different types of stays> cottage, hotels and houses in Iceland but this will keep in our hearts!!!

Lovely quiet rural setting, good buffet breakfast and dinner, though some dishes tended to get cold, and a bit more fresh fruit would have been good. Very good, but not as good as previous reviews suggested.
It's a self check-in hostel. You have supermarkets, gas stations, pharmacy, bakeries and anything you need close by. I had a private room with a small bed and a sink, which was very convenient. The kitchen was big with all the necessary equipment. It was very quiet at night, maybe because there weren't many other guests around.
Such a cozy and lovely house! When we arrived, there was a hand written welcome note with my name on it. There were also some chocolates and fresh flowers waiting for us in the cabin.
Everything was cleaned spotless. The area was really quiet and felt very nice and private.

Very good value for money, this was our cheapest stay in our 2 week trip in Iceland, but it had everything we needed.

During our stay it was very quiet
An incredibly charming house and idyllic nature around with beautiful views. The hot tub was the absolute highlight. Unfortunately, the view when you sit in it is blocked by the wooden panels and the small windows in it are much too high, so you have no view from inside the jacuzzi; was definitely the only drawback. It is very quiet and there are no immediate neighbors. In summer you can enjoy the midnight sun and dine outside on the terrace in good weather conditions. Be sure to use the barbecue. We can hardly wait to come back. Thank you 💛
Perfect and quiet room. We had some trouble with our room code but they solved it immediately. Located in the city center with a lot of supermarkets and food options around. Overall, very good stay.
