We booked this as a place to sleep during a long layover. We could not have been more pleased with how convenient it was to the airport, how truly comfortable and spotless our room was, and how gracious the hosts were. We would highly recommended this not only as a great space for a rest near the airport, but also as a place you could comfortably base out of for a longer exploration of beautiful Iceland.

An eclectic and comfortable place with a terrific owner (Andy). We had a 22 hour layover and because of Andy, we had a great time and made the most of it. After 8-9 hours of driving/sightseeing, it was a true delight to roll in here.
He was full of smiles, energy, and good ideas
(from his nearby fish and chip recommendation to checking/dropping our bags with Icelandic Air the night before). Super location just 6 to 8 minutes from the airport. Another bonus was the property’s very natural steam bath-hot pools 20 steps from our door (just my gal pal and I soaking and looking up at the Icelandic night skies… pretty cool).
The family-run Blue Viking Studios is next to Keflavík Harbor and 1.9 mi from Keflavík International Airport. Free WiFi and parking. The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is within 20 minutes’ drive.

The best part of the property was the location and free parking. The breakfast that started at 3am was super awesome too since we had an early flight. Lots of options for the breakfast including gluten free stuff and not food items. Staff was nice too. Not bad for a one night stay.

great location; quiet rooms + blackout curtains (not thru all the wall but the main window)
efficient check-in and out process;
good breakfast - especially the breakfast time (starts 4 a.m. which is great fo rearly flights)
Close to airport and on harbour front. Spacious room that was quiet. Lift very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. This Hotel is like a guest house with about 15 rooms. We have rebooked!
Room was just what we expected based on the photos. Great location for a quick stopover before an early morning flight out from Keflavik. The beds were all comfy, bathrooms clean, very quiet space and free hot drinks machine. Parking was available right outside.
Came for an over-night sleep because of a long layover in Iceland, and booked a dorm last minute when I arrived at the airport at around midnight. Very nice staff, good breakfast buffet that starts at 4am, reception open all night so easy to check-in for a late arrival, and quiet dorm room w hot shower. Every accommodation in Iceland was expensive but this was the cheapest option in the area near the airport.
Great location walking distance to the airport, really friendly staff and nice comfy room. Was quiet considering it's next to the airport and lots of rooms. Nice breakfast spread and served early from 4am so lucky we could go before our early flight
The guesthouse is in a great location for those who want to spend the night in Keflavik, just a few minutes' drive from the airport. The rooms are very clean and quiet, equipped with everything needed.
This is a great place to stay relatively cheap near the airport KEF. The room has 3 beds and a private bathroom. It is mostly quiet - although other guests start having breakfast early in the morning. I would recommend the place to those arriving late at KEF or depart early from it. Free (1-trip) shuttle to/from the airport is included and worked very well. The breakfast is surprisingly good and starts at 3AM.
