Parking lot resurfacing was a pretty big inconvenience after a long day, but it was done by morning. It was just a mild speed bump on an amazing journey. The guesthouse was spotless and the staff was amazing. I would 100% stay here again.

Cleanliness: everything was spotless.
Staff was wonderful and helpful.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The acomodation was clean, warm, well equipped with comfortable beds. The location was very quiet being well away from the main road but very easy to find and self check in. We'd have no hesitation in booking again.
Had read mixed reviews on this property, However we couldn’t fault it.Location was great , 10mins drive from Jokulsarlon .
Very quiet and peaceful.
All the cooking facilities you needed
Both bedrooms were en suite
great location not far from jokulsarlon glacier lagoon; in the middle of nature; comfortable bed; very quiet; tv with netflix account; the heating worked great
Actually we managed to change Reynivellir II - room with shared bathroom to Gerdi house - room with private bathroom for an additional payment, but it was worth it. From our experience the first choice is o.k. for young backpackers, as it has kitchen and dining room very close to some rooms. We preffered a quieter and more private room at Gerdi house, close to the seaside.
We stayed in a bungalow. We had 2 single beds, a private washroom + shower, two chairs, a small table, and a wall-mounted TV with cabel. The heating in the room was nice. The area was very quiet. We went to the restaurant for dinner and it was AMAZING. They also serve free self-serve filter coffee and tea in the dining area.
