The location is on a farm very near to the ring road . The house is in a scenic location . The rooms are comfortable and you have all the facilities for a comfortable stay. we were just there for the night before we started to Vik . we all would have liked to have stayed longer. This summer house is beautiful, with amazing views and horses in the adjacent fields. Very quiet and private too. The hot tub outside is a big bonus! You find all amenities, the rooms and beds are very comfortable and the owners are very nice. Would definitely recommend
Even greater than expected, everything was of very high construction quality, very spacious room, also a spacious shower in the private bathroom, giant bed, very practical arrangement of all the things. Felt like a 4 star hotel, except that this place is in the middle of nowhere (which is a very positive thing, everything super quiet and you're close to nature). Good variety of breakfast, flexible check in and check out. Good self adjustable heating.
Cozy private boutique hotel. Owners extremely pleasant. The staff excellent and very warm welcoming. The rooms are very nice in country style. The food is good both breakfast and dinner. Spa is great and they offer massage. The environment is magnificent! Maybe one of the best country hotels in Iceland.
The Hotel Hvolsvollur was like a nice chain hotel in the US. Our room had a private bathroom and was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Parking was free in the lot. A very nice, included breakfast was served with many choices. The restaurant served dinner also, but there were other restaurant options in the area.
