This is the best place to stay if you are visiting Kollam.Located at Ashtamudi Lake only five minitus from City centre lakeside setting is tranquil and poetic.The food was excellent and the lodging met all my comfort needs.Everyone was also very understanding.

Room was not allotted and the contact person tried to provide with a lodge owned by the same company, but on personal visit the same proved to be a sub standard one. Contact person was not available in phone afterwards. Hence another hotel had to be chosen through personal visit at 6:30 PM. Later its was heard that they have given all rooms to a wedding party.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
While the property is only 5 acres, it is surrounded by the Ashtmudi lake. The view is nice and serene. It is in a private place. The Chef, Arun and the staff at the restaurant (forgetting names) were really nice and responsive.
Very friendly staff. Helped us with the printout of nearby tourist attractions. Great location. Beach is across the street. However, swimming is not allowed due to dangerous water conditions.
The hotel is built to exceptional standards and offers luxury accommodation at a very reasonable price. Kollam isn’t really on the tourist trail apart for its own backwaters that rival Alleppey so most people who stay at the hotel are Indian tourists or businessmen but I was treated with courtesy and respect, the food offered was excellent and the staff helpful
Booked as a treat. It was recommended by my guide book and I wanted a hotel rather than a hostel this time. Felt luxury and is something my parents and grandparents would have felt comfortable and relaxed in. Great location so easy to direct autos and get around cheaply.
