Has all the ingredients of a good homestay. Excellent location with a good view of Kanchanjunga. We were lucky to view it even though the trip was during a rainy reason because one day there were clear skies. The owner and staff were very responsive. The food is typical home stay, somewhat lesser options but homely and good quality. Snacks were also available and they were good too. We need to order a little in advance but they stuck or beat their time estimates. The rooms were cleaned every day and the bathrooms were neat too. Overall it was a very pleasant and hassle free stay.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
This is a lovely property away from the busy center and with a great view. Our apartment was very private and below the rest of the property. The kitchen was spacious, and although not fitted out to cook our meals on arrival, the staff eventually provided us with everything we needed. The wifi was initially not strong enough for online meetings, but they soon worked on it and sorted it out for us.
The family room is huge and well designed. Locality is decent and quiet. Cleanliness. Helpful staff, but limited by availability of facilities.

Set atop a hillock and a little away from the crowded areas, Niharika offers a home away from home. It has a well-preserved old world charm, yet is laced with all modern amenities. The housekeeper and cook are great and provide really good hospitality. It is quaint and cosy. Overall we simply loved our stay and is great value for money.
Perfect homestay, a little outside Kalimpong offering a more quiet stay. Yet close enough to the city centre (approximately 15 min by shared taxi). Lovely host Bidhya helped us arrange things like transportation and came up with stuff for us to do. Clean and spacious room, great food and nice staff - highly recommended!
The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The ambiance was serene. I enjoyed the quietness of the surrounding. Sipping a hot cup of tea sitting under the sun was a true luxury for us. The hosts were superb and very warm towards any need of the visitors. Special thanks to the young couple Ahana and Kabir. We enjoyed their company. The food was good. The farmhouse staff Sanjay was very well behaved and was always at service. We could easily arrange local taxis from the neighbouring village with the help of the hosts.
