Our train got delayed and instead of arriving to Jaisalmer at 10.30pm, we arrived at 2.30am. And Fotiya comes to pick us up at 2.30am to the train station!
Also even we had others plans after talked to Ali, an other amazing staff, we decided to changed our plans and go with them for a non-touristic camel safari and spent one night in the middle of the desert under the stars! It was an amazing experience, we went to a pretty isolated place where we did not find any other tourist! Everything was gorgeous and really authentic!
In general at Fotiya hotel we had a great experience! they helped us with everything (even with our train back)!

From the moment I stepped into Sagar Guest House, I felt completely at home. The family warmly welcomed me and made me feel like one of their own, going beyond providing a place to stay by supporting me with various needs—including assistance with shipping and offering kind moral support after a challenging experience in the previous city.
They also organized a fantastic desert safari for us, which was perfectly planned from start to finish. We enjoyed exploring local villages, riding camels, and marveling at the breathtaking sunset, evening stars, and sunrise. They ensured we were well taken care of throughout the safari and even provided a comfortable space to relax and freshen up upon our return.
I originally planned to stay in Jaisalmer for just two days, but the warmth, care, and comfort I found here made me extend my stay to eight days. If I ever return to Jaisalmer, I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

The owner is great. You could not ask for a better location on top of the hill inside the fort. The view from their suite room and the restaurant upstairs is unbeatable. The host was always willing to guide and help.

Nestled within the fort, the Mud Mirror Guesthouse is a true hidden gem! My room offered breathtaking views, with the Jain Temple on one side and the cityscape on the other. The bed was comfortable, and bedsheets were clean. Thanks to the thick walls, the room stayed warm even during the winter months, and hot water was readily available.
The owner, Lalaji, is an exceptional host. He kindly picked me up at the fort gate on his bike and, along with his amazing staff, ensured I felt completely at home throughout my stay. The rooftop terrace and restaurant offer a stunning panorama, and the food and drinks were delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer!

My stay at Hotel Garh Meera was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service that made me feel right at home.

One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop terrace, offering stunning views of the city and its surrounding landscapes. Watching the sunset from there was an unforgettable experience.

This boutique hotel was a wonderful surprise. The location could not be better in the heart of the old Jaisalmer Fort. We paid extra for a room with private pillow-filled balcony overlooking the fort walls that was magical. Excellent breakfast served on the roof. Note that given location, hotel can only be served by rickshaw, not car.
