The rooms were big, with a balcony. The bathrooms were big and very clean. The kitchen area, sitting area and veranda were very useful for our group. It felt like a quiet comfortable home.

As a solo traveler it can be hard not knowing anyone in the places you come to, but at Tara guesthouse, you expect a place to stay, but once you come you feel a part of their family.

The host and his lovely family made our stay in Bodh Gaya exceptional. They were super nice, caring and nothing was an issue. The room was clean, comfortable and we even had hot water, which is pretty rare in India. They also had a spacious rooftop where you can practice yoga like we did. And his family's chai was amazing! Can't recommend this place enough

Couldn’t have been better. Staff really friendly but not invasive. Perfect for a meditation retreat as it’s 30 mins walk from the famous mahabodhi temple. Only £1 for a tuktuk there. Really clean! Perfectly clean even! Food is ok. Free water - plenty as needed. Spa is available always without booking. I came at quiet time but even then was surprised by this as a regular person in Hotels. Great library about relevant Buddhist things - really useful. Gym is basic but sufficient.
The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are clean and quiet. The food is spot on and the location is very close to the Maha Bodhi temple. The staff is very friendly and can help you with anything you need.
It's cheap, spacious, quiet (there was only one other guest), family-run, in the village. Local people doing their own stuff. The hard bed was good to me. There's a kitchen with a refrigerator and a small cooker to use. By paying more attention to few aspects and adding few more services, Sujata Buddha Homestay can be really appealing for travellers who look for accommodation off the tourist zone but still at a reasonable distance from the main attractions.

Quiet and clean hotel in a great location — in walking distance to everything yet away from the busy streets so very peaceful. Comfortable bed, polite team and quality facilities for an easy stay
The house is outside the town which I actually liked because it was quiet area where you can see farmers life. To go to the town through a dried river it is about 15 minutes by walk. The ower and its familly are really friendly. It was nice to see how the indian family live. Food which they prepared was tasty.
The rooms itself were indian standart but it is value for money as the place is really cheap.
There is a roof top with common area which has a nice view for farmer fields.
