For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
They showed us different rooms than what we choosed online.
We have selected privately attached bathroom for each rooms. But what was given is a shared toilet for two rooms.
That too without western commode.
It was a nice big room, with chairs etc. Shared lounge room was nice, where we chatted with other residents and staff. Because its a bit expensive by India standards, Indians staying there speak English well and have worldly experience to share (we were the only westerners). Food was terrific and well priced, and staff would go and get anything you need. Very nice garden and house in general. It can be a bit Faulty Towers, which can be fun if you have the patience and good humour! Quiet at night.
Samir is a very good host. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler staying there, Samir helped me to get a rikshaw because the place is 2 kilometers away from the train station. And the good thing, he actually showed me around the touristic sites of Prayagraj for the whole day on his motorbike for a very cheap rate so that was much better than getting taxis or rikshaws, cheaper and more interesting as he speaks good English.
The property was located in a very quiet locality of civil lines with lots of greenery in the neighborhood. Staff was quite friendly & supportive. This homestay was on my best stays that i ever stayed. Owner was very helpful, we talked and have tea together. Will highly recommend this property l.
The staff are very polite and helpful. The food was excellent on the first day. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood. The dinner items were made fresh, so had the home taste.
