Spacious and comfortable room on the second floor of a private house; it looks exactly as presented in the photos. The rooms are managed by nice, helpful, and friendly hosts. The place is close to the sea and the tourist center of Agonda; the location is perfect. We cooked and were provided with an electric cooker and dishes. The internet was great. There is a terrace on the top floor where it is possible to dry clothes and towels. One day, we saw a monkey passing by there!

The location of this homestay is fantastic - 5 minutes walk to the beach, and situated at one one end of the Agonda beach strip, so you can walk along the main road or beach to access restaurants, shops etc.
The room itself was basic, but had great AC, a large bathroom, and a little seating area outside.
The room was very clean, although I am not sure how often it is cleaned after arrival - I only stayed 3 nights.
The owner was very responsive and helped me organise a taxi pick up, as well as giving local recommendations.
The lady who prepared my room on arrival was very sweet and there is a true family run atmosphere.
Towels are provided.
Great value for money.

We loved the he monkey antics in the trees next to the property The room was spotless and view at the back lovely. The owner was very nice helpful friendly and the room very pleasant.

We had an excellent stay at the Maria Guest House. The staff were accomadating and very helpful- planning trips for us and making sure that we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay. The menu ranged from simple familiar dishes to local Goan cuisine, and the kitchen staff were brilliant. Definately a good place to revisit!

The beach is secluded and quiet. No one harasses you here to take pictures with you. There area few quaint restaurants. I will go back. This isn't party capital and we left the place completely refreshed.
Great location with a private path down to the beach. Nice cafes, massages and shops nearby. Owners helped arrange laundry for us at a very good price.
Monsoon is an oasis of quiet serenity. Whilst there’s no restaurant or bar as such, the charming hosts are happy to serve you anything from their menu either in your room or at the beachside tables. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were smiley and friendly, we stayed for a week and would happily have stayed for a month. Highly recommended if you enjoy peace and tranquility.

The breakfast and the food were excellent. The view from the restaurant is amazing. Very quiet place on the beach close to the city center (10 min walk). We highly recommend this place.
Great location, right on the beach on the relatively quieter Agonda beach. The rooms were tiny but clean, well maintained and charming with an open ceiling bathroom. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. They could arrange taxis for us at short notice, helpful with suggestions and even went out of their way to arrange a tailor for my fiancé.
