The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with loads of choice and options. The owner was so full of local knowledge and full of tips of where to walk locally. Lovely gent!
The bedding was really comfy with ample supplies of tea and coffee making facilities. We really felt welcomed and the staff went out of their way to make us feel so.
We`d definitely visit this beautiful little seaside village again. Loads of shells on the beach and even seals to watch.
Ballycotton is well worth a visit, no shop but fantastic eateries, comedy club and very friendly people.
The velux window had a remote closure which my daughter enjoyed. (she`s an adult).
It`s all about location..........Definitely walk from Schooner`s down across the road to collect beautiful shells and different stones. Walk further along towards the pier. True inspiration for any artist!
Ignore that ugly eye-sore of a "house" that ruins the views as you walk towards the "cliff walk"......Probably cost a fortune and can`t understand how that eye-sore got planning permission in such a beautiful location........"Ugly wealth" I call it!

Wow, what an incredible place to stay for our first few nights in Ireland! The property is so beautiful and full of history with incredible furnishings! We had fun exploring and walked over to the local potter just up the road. Breakfast was above and beyond, a spread fit for a king! Everything was homemade and delicious! Location was close to restaurants and the town center. It was easy to find. Pleasant host. Millie texted us ahead of our visit with information on restaurants and some suggestions for our arrival.

Lovely old restored house, very central but quiet. Bedrooms very nicely done with smart TV and modern bathroom. A quaint old world vibe with very friendly hosts. The breakfast was exceptional, with homemade breads and delicious (and plentiful) coffee.
It is a fantastic old world house with all the luxury of modern accommodation . From The freshly baked pastries in the morning to the fresh fruit home made brown bread . The four poster bed everything about this property is exceptional . We Will definitely be back.
The view is amazing from apt 😍 the apartment is quiet spacious and in great location . Everything you need is in apartment. We just had the best week of weather so that made our holiday even better . We also brought a small dog 🐕
Great location and parking provided, walking distance to the town centre. John and Mary were great hosts and very helpful about dining locally etc. . They served a wide variety of breakfasts, we had a great vegan breakfast, John and Mary put themselves out, nothing was too much trouble for them.
We received a most cordial welcolme from the proprietors who were most helpful and informative about Youghal and area. They were very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very much at home.
The house was situated overlooking the bay and it was a good centre for planning journeys to placec of interest.
Very convenient for Youghal bur also right beside the by-pass while being quiet and private.
