Theresa (our hostess) was the very best with hospitality. Accommodations were impeccable and comfortable beds. Kilcar Lodge was warm and inviting. Onsite parking. Beautiful community gardens surrounding the property. The location provided convenient access to the Atlantic Coast, Sliabh Liag and Donegal City Center.

Everything!! Could not recommend the lookout enough. Views are spectacular. Location is perfect, a short drive from Ardara and centered in Donegal. Hosts are SO kind, making splendid breakfast, giving advice on area and putting everyone at ease. The property has all the details, the heating blankets, little shoe cupboard, amenities, snacks, beers…., will be recommending this place for life!!!! Huge 10/10. Run there!!!

The location was breathtaking. The house was warm and friendly. The room was large and well presented and the bathroom was magnificent and also the largest bathroom I have ever stayed in. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in, so comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Lastly the hosts were warm, friendly and made us very welcome, yet they were not overbearing and left us to get on with our stay, they struck exactly the right balance, thank you both and well done. We will certainly be back again.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The pub was charming though crowded into small rooms as per Irish tradition. Accommodation is definitely an add-on rather than the primary business The bedrooms behind the pub were o.k. Beds were comfortable and the decor was fresh and clean. I am glad that we stayed here, but visitors shouldn't expect a cosy place to hang out. The food was good.
Excellent hosts, very clean rooms, great location, very quiet and just a short walk from an excellent pub. Breakfast was very good seemed to cater for all, we were mainly hungry and were all full before we left. Plenty of parking too, we were traveling by motorcycle.
Charming pub and b&b in a scenic location. Convenient to drive to the area attractions. Food was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful.Good value for the reasonable price.
