Received phone call from property owner/manager informing me that building work was being carried out and that my accommodation had been transferred to a sister B&B the “Tuskar House”.

Just what was needed. Comfortable, warm room, plenty of hot water for the bath, attractive decor. The breakfast was very good, and very helpful and friendly staff/owners.

Nice clean house with shared living room and kitchen facilities, private bathroom; all very clean. Comfortable bed and great location for a stopover before or after the ferry, with some nice pubs nearby. Bedroom itself was a decent size with tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water.
Great location for the ferry, which we could see from our window, excellent breakfast before we set off, nice and clean with parking, very helpful staff to suggest places to eat and nearby walks
Great hosting by Eileen from the moment we arrived. Room was comfortable though the bed quilt was too thick and heavy. Excellent breakfast. Location is ideal for the ferry. Would stay there again.
