Nice traditional bed n breakfast.
Lovely welcome from owner Helen.
Gorgeous slice of home made apple tart and cup of tea to relax after my journey.
Bed and room very quiet and comfortable.
It was nice to stay in a little dignified Irish village like Silvermines. Far from the madding crowd of Dublin on my way to Shannon airport.
I also felt my car was safe outside which is important to a driver.
Helen was a chatty personable Irish host but not intrusive nor over familiar. I liked her professional approach.

Anita and her family were amazing! Not only did they provide us with a place to stay, they helped us with our travel plans. Forever grateful for her kindness.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Nice touch - a plentiful supply of in-the-room breakfast supplies (tea/coffee/chocolate, cereals/oat pots, soda bread and crackers, fresh fruit) are left out, plus a well stocked fridge (plenty of milk, yoghurts, butter, jam and honey and fruit juice) and a microwave for DIY hot food.
Charming hosts, Jeremy and Nuala
Many added luxuries, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, an extensive welcome food hamper including homemade bread. The hottub was a delight. It was quiet and private, and we wanted for nothing.
Declan is a great host. The rooms were beautiful with everything you could need. Breakfast was excellent and great service. Great location. Great view. We will definitely be back again.
