Gerald is an absolute delight! He is the owner and living in the premises. He is in the process of renovating the whole house and he is doing a great job! The beds are comfy, shower is hot, you have access to the kitchen and Gerald would love to drink a beer or glass of wine with you and have a chat. 😃 It's a beautiful area and this is a great place to lay your head!

I like the owner met me in person on my arrival, showed me room and made me welcome.
Room itself was more than I could expect with all in facilities and space.
First time I had a breakfast products in my room at all the time from arrival. I think that’s a fantastic idea! I have never got as much selected jams, teas, fruits and other products to use for breakfast or other time as it was there!!!
Thank you for all Catherine and Kevin 👍
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The welcome we received, firstly from Sharon on reception, she was very professional and very informative.
The hotel was lovely and cosy, lovely smell when you came in the front door. For a small boutique hotel it surpassed all expectations.
The breakfast was fabulous and you must try the home made scones.
Great location, as we were there for Paul Weller concert so close to King John's castle.
Looking forward to our next visit
I liked the quiet location, the view of the dock road from my bedroom, and the easy walk along the dock road to the city centre.i liked that the car park is so close to your accommodation,no long draw.i liked the clean bedroom ,and clean bathroom in the hall.i liked the keycard access to the building and the hallways and the bedrooms.i liked that there was a nightporter on after midnight to let me in after being downtown
Great location! The room was lovely and clean. Easy walk to everything and in the most interesting part of town. The room wasn't quiet, it is in the busy part of town, but we still slept well. Parking wasn't included, however, check with the hotel as there is validated parking across the road.
Rooms were big (triples booked) and plenty of space. Great choice for breakfast. Plenty of free bottled water for the rooms. Great location and was quiet during the day, lively at night. No noise could be heard from rooms. Staff great too
Staffs were extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel itself was quaint and charming. Having a pub inside the hotel was an added bonus. Overall good food and drinks. Very close to the University (20min). Right next to the bus stop that takes you to the city center.
This is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The host is charming, considerate and a great conversationalist. It is ideally located within walking distance of the city centre. Breakfast was delicious - an amazing fresh fruit salad, hot croissants and great coffee. There's also a beautiful dog in the house and it was lovely to meet and play with him.
