From the moment we arrived when Maria greeted us outside after parking our car, we had great experience at the Streete Retreat. Her and Joe are a great couple who are the epitome of old fashioned Irish hospitality. Lovely room, super breakfast (well done Joe). Very peaceful and tranquil house in a very quiet village.

We ended up here after getting a flat tire on a Sunday afternoon. The owner arrived at the house within 50 minutes. He was very kind and helpful. The room is perfect for two people. Both the room itself and the bathroom were nice and clean.

Easy check in and checking out. Responsive host who went above and beyond to make my stay smooth. Well stocked essentials and very comfortable bed. Well heated house and spotless bathroom. Enda gave me a ride 3 times to and from work as it was difficult to get a taxi on my specified times.
I will therefore be coming back as it is a home away from home. Grateful

everything Elaine the owner was a lovely lady really welcoming and chatty and very helpful. the property itself was amazing best I’ve stayed in so far. done to a really high standard and very homely and comfy. I was away working and missed going to watch Liverpool and Elaine came back over from the pub and sorted the match for me. Greg the Australian lad who was staying there was a good lad and had a few lagers watching the match. my room was really comfy and quiet. 100 out of 100 for me 👍
