Sarah was lovely and her home is gorgeous! She was very welcoming, told us all the best places to eat and visit and we didn’t see her again until we were leaving the following morning when we got to meet her lovely little dogs! We also got to pet the donkeys too before leaving! Absolutely need a car but we would stay again! 5*

A very peaceful & secure gated location, a few minutes walk from Tullow town and just about 12 minutes away from Lisnavagh House where we were attending the wonderful Hidden Hearth Festival.
A warm, clean, cosy room with a view of the most beautiful mature tree outside the window! Bottled water & tea/coffee facility was very welcomed too.
The bathroom was lovely and warm with toiletries supplied and it was a nice warming treat to have the towels heated on the towel radiator. Hairdryer provided also.

Privately owned, beautiful refurbished old building, cosy, homie, warm bedroom, comfortable bed and modern and spacious en-suite bathroom and shower. I had the single room at the back of the house which was really quiet and cosy. The lovely owner was here to welcome me when I arrived and was happy to chat for a good while. She then left and so I was on my own in the house as there was no guest in the 2 other bedrooms. There was bread, yoghurts, jam, milk and butter in the fridge for breakfast, also tea and coffee, cereals and she even bought a Halloween brack even though I was the only guest on that night. 2 sofas to watch a connected TV, WIFI worked perfectly. It is great to stay in such a place where you can see and feel the efforts and care put into it. Ideally located if you need to drive back to Dublin next morning.
Boasting picturesque views of the Wicklow Mountains, Birchdale House is nestled in the rural setting of Greenan, 5 minutes’ drive from Rathdrum.

Very nice owners who prepared a very good traditional Irish breakfast, the house is decorated in a rich style, I cannot find any weak points of the accommodation, possibility of using a table in the garden and a bar stocked with various types of beers
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
