The owner/hostess was soooo kind. I had accidentally left my phone at a restaurant (so had no way to contact them) but she knew them well and contacted them immediately -- and right away, drove to the restaurant to pick it up! It was a 20-30 mins roundtrip for her at around 10pm! She was so happy to help. So kind of her for that and the entire stay. Breakfast was huge and delicious!

The location of the lodge was very well situated to hike to many sights on the island. The staff members were friendly and tried to be helpful and accomodating.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful house, large clean room, very comfortable, great location, great breakfast options, will definitely stay again.
Great location, central coffee point but frequent lack of milk a hindrance - would have preferred tea/coffee facilities in our room.

Great stay at Port Aran house - really great location just a touch up the hill out of Cill Rónáin, so it’s exceptionally quiet and the views from the back deck are wonderful. Breakfast was great, everyone mentions the scones so I will too (so good!), and host so knowledgable, providing a great recommendation of a beach to cycle to which was absolutely deserted, even on a warm Friday leading into a bank holiday. Room very smart and nicely decorated as well!
The room was charming, clean and spacious with a lovely view. It was lovely spending a rainy day wrapped in the blanket, sitting in front of the window. The shower worked great and it was quiet at night.
Breakfast was exceptional, generous and delicious, with table service.
Hosts and staff were absolutely lovely and their bus service to Kilronan is a treat, giving Kilmurvey House the feel of a somewhat secluded place as well as easily accessible.
