We absolutely loved our stay! Aisling was a great host and our room was SO comfortable! Dunquin pier is a short walk from the accommodation too so we did that the afternoon we got there, after doing the Ring of Kerry drive. Such a perfect day ending with a perfect stay - so so special!

BEAUTIFUL house/room! Super clean and modern. Eibhlis was SUPER welcoming and was ready to come rescue us when we were stranded and with minor ankle injury. Once we arrived, she quickly took all of our soaking wet gear to her very toasty laundry room so everything would be dry by morning.then gave us a lift to the pub, saving us a 5 minute walk in the rain! Excellent breakfast. Pub and Bus stop 5 minutes from house. Nothing open early for coffee or to resupply/snacks/lunch before getting back on Dingle Way.

Geraldine was a friendly and helpful host .The breakfast was freshly cooked and very delicious with lots of different options on the menu. Bedrooms very spotlessly clean with lots of hot water, the rooms are very quiet so we had a great nights sleep. An Portán guest house is in a great location with beautiful scenery all around and walking distance to the Blasket visitor center and Dunquin pier and directly across the road from a bar which serves food.
