The location was steps away from downtown Donegal! We felt safe to walk around town at night. Breakfast was very good! Eggs to order, yogurt, fresh fruit, and the list goes on! Geraldine was very accommodating and her husband, Michael was very sociable and approachable.

Everything was as we expected. Beds were comfortable. The room was warm and the choices of breakfast were great. We would go again for the Hawaiian toast and the scrambled egg with salmon.

EVERYTHING! The view, the room, the breakfasts, the hosts...everything was absolutely amazing. The heated blankets on the beds were a huge luxury especially on colder nights...even in late June! Noreen is a lovely and caring host who checks on her guests to ensure they have everything they need. Even willing to go out of her way for them! I was a solo motorbike gal and allowing use of a covered parking was a double bonus. Breathtaking place just 10 minutes from Donegal town.

The hosts were jovial and accommodating at every turn. My wife and I were traveling with two friends and we were allowed to use the family room to spend the evenings. The breakfasts were harty and filling. Petting Lily, the family dog, was an added benefit.

Lovely home environment! A very hearty and delicious Irish breakfast, warm and friendly atmosphere where guests can connect while enjoying the wonderful hospitality. Very clean and creative - clearly designed to consider guests - each room has its own bath and toilet. These hosts are all in for their guests, very thoughtful, they couldn't be more welcoming and supportive of potential needs. Shared detailed info on travel and sights, offered study space and pick-up during rain. Nice view from bedroom!

Great spot on edge of town , excellent Rome size nice set up
This was exactly what we wanted. A quiet, quaint cottage in the countryside. We are a group of 4 friends that are all new mums/mums of young kids. We opted for a quiet getaway to get some sleep and catch up with friends.
A full working kitchen so we could do any meals, close to Kilcar village for the shop & close to other attractive amenities..whether that be walk along the beach or a pint. It is a beautiful part of the world and would highly recommend it to any friends or families that need some time to switch off.
Lovely location. Entire small detached bungalow to ourselves which slept 5 (we were 5 adults). Relatively modern with everything we needed. Great location, very quiet and private. All bedding, towels, tea-towels, cooking equipment etc. supplied. Great location from which to explore the county and beyond. Lovely private garden to sit in with a picnic bench and some chairs. Grounds well maintained. Although other houses were quite close, planting of trees/hedging made it very private. I would have no problem booking this property again.
