Breakfast was continental but was delicious and plenty. We were lost and the hostess came to us to follow her to the B&B. The B&B was absolutely beautiful, clean, amazing views, and the rooms we’re comfortable, and a great layout. The hostess made you feel like family. Will definitely stay here for our future travel plans. Highly recommended. The price was better than most we’ve been paying for.

The real Irish breakfast was just great. As much or as little of nearly anything you could possibly want for breakfast. The owner is very flexible and very happy to cook for his guests. He clearly enjoys his guests and is a great storyteller. He is an expert in all things Mullingar and quite happy to give you as much info about it as you like. The neighborhood was very quiet. We also enjoyed his singing of traditional Irish songs. You get a real Irish welcome here -- with warmth, humor, and Irish wit and generosity!
Kerrigans B&B is located in the heart of Mullingar over the Kerrigan's pub, less than 1 mile from the railway station and close to bus stops. It offers a snack bar and free Wi-Fi.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
This is an excellent B&B. The owners were super friendly. The breakfast was tasty. The room was very comfortable and quiet and even had black out blinds.
Paul was a very friendly host, we enjoyed the fresh cooked warm breakfast and the fresh fruits, yoghurt and cereals from the buffet. Beautiful house, clean room, breakfast was served in the wintergarden with view to the garden, very quiet, lovely place. We would highly recommend highfield house.
Our stay at Highfield House was very pleasant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the place was spotless. The breakfast was fresh and delicious (Irish breakfast, varieties of fresh fruits and cereals, ...). We felt very comfortable and the host recommended a great place for dinner. A great place for a quiet getaway.
Irene is a wonderful host..she made our stay very memorable. Cosy quiet cottage with everything you could want...and a wonderful hot tub.
