Spotlessly clean, good breakfast and great hosts. Highly recommend. Will be back
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Loved my stay. I liked the fact the room was seperate to the main house so I could come and go without worrying about disturbing anyone. I was able to park on the driveway right next to the outhouse. Owner was very kind and allowed me to check in a little early so I could drop my bags off and continue my day. Owners were friendly and approachable. The room had everything I needed, beautiful modern en suite and kitchenette. Tv. Comfortable bed etc very pleasant stay. Good location for the town but lovely and quiet.
Friendly host who happily let us check in later than the usual time. Lovely self contained studio in a quiet area and just a short walk from town. The studio was nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast food was provided, milk, cereal, bread , marmalade and tea and coffee. Because you do your own breakfast, it was perfect for us because we wanted to make an early start the next morning, so we could have it as early as we wanted. Really happy with our stay here.
Breakfast very good , traditional irish .Staff very friendly .Good sized bedrooms, iron and ironing board in room. Rooms very quiet. No objections raised when my party produced a PIPER who played Danny Boy in my honour in the public bar/loungeat 11 pm .
The Shirley commands a strong presence within the local area, especially since the Nuremore hotel and spa has closed
