We loved Jenny. She's a fantastic hostess. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner. We felt very at home and comfortable. Our favorite b and b by a mile in Ireland. The breakfast is award winning on its own. Each and every item was locally sourced and delicious. Jenny is a wonderful cook.

Seamus is a wonderful host, and Drogheda is a town worth visiting! The room was compact but met our needs and the bed was quite comfortable. Lovely home and the breakfast was fantastic. So much on offer. And great conversation with Seamus and the other guests. He could not have been more helpful, even recommending a lovely nearby restaurant.

We loved the facility and its owners. It is exceptionally clean, well furnished, and warm. Our bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea and wonderful conversation. The grounds of the B&B are delightful and include cows.

MapleHouse B&B, hotel in Balrath

MapleHouse B&B enjoys a location in Drogheda, 4.4 miles from Monasterboice and 5.1 miles from Dowth. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, full-day security, and free Wifi.

Real good owner and nice, room was big and spacious and clean. However, the house had some unpleasant smell. We raised concern and owner immediately changed the room, which was very kind. I think biggest problem for us was that for the price paid we expected better. So it is really about value for money, no other reason. I understand that may be due to demand and supply but I believe the price needs to be reduced by at least 25%-30%, if not more.

Chellowdene House, hotel in Balrath

Chellowdene House in Navan provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, free shuttle service, and free Wifi.

Mary was a wonderful host. She provided helpful advice on sites to see in the area. The B&B is in a great location when visiting historic sites. In one day we were able to drive to Bective Abbey, Trim Castle, the Hill of Ward, Kells, the Spire of Lloyd, the Hill of Slane, Slane Castle, and Donaghamore Cemetery. The B&B is also close to Newgrange, the Hill of Tara and Monasterboice. Our bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our tasty continental breakfast. There is a secure and convenient parking area in front of the house. A very nice restaurant/ bar is located right across the road. There is a good chipper a short walk away.

What an absolute treasure! This b&b is exceptional. The hosts couldn’t do any more for us. The food is so delicious & all freshly baked. The house itself is quiet & in a great location if attending a wedding at Ballymagarvan village. There is an amazing restaurant not too far up the road called the Snailbox. The gardens around this b&b are fantastic & so well maintained with lots of home grown fruit & veg.
