There was plenty of hot water for our shower and it had good pressure.
The full Irish breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and jam, cereals, Juices, tea, and coffee.
It held us over all day out touring, and we didn’t eat again until 6:30 PM.
The hosts Margaret and her husband were lovely people. They made arrangements for us to have supper at a nearby Italian restaurant even though we had no reservations for the evening meal upon arrival.
They took the time to give us some guidance about our travel plans for the day as well.

Aughrim is a picturesque and peaceful village close to nature in the heart of the Wicklow mountains. The hotel has a long history but despite being 'old' the shower and facilities were up-to-date and functioning. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Everything, I drove through a railway bridge hence the name into a beautiful driveway reception area then up a beautiful driveway with the greenest lawn a cool little lawn mowing machine busy doing his thing, clear signage showing me where to park.
I park and this lovely gentleman appears to help me with my luggage.
He greats me and insists on taking my bags to my room. I’m upstairs in a large beautifully decorated room. I open up my bags get out what in need and scamper outside. The garden is large lovely outdoor area to sit. A sweet elderly dog who looks at me as if to say you can pat me. I sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. This place is perfect.

Never saw staff so can't comment. Instructions given for key safe and all found ready. Loved the kettle in the room for excellent tea.
Fabulous birdsong and feeling of being out in the country. Very comfortable.

Brekkie was standard irish breakfast, not much option for fresh fruit ect but I was happy with the food. Room was very clean with netflix and coffee, also host showed us to communal kitchen with unlimited coffee, milk ect.. Little press with board games and door to outdoor area with fantastic views.. We had a loud snoring neighbour which kept us awake all night 🤦♀️ but that can't be helped lol great location with local bar downstairs.. Would definitely recommend
In a lovely location where the rivers meet. Spacious family room and very comfortable. The bar was nice and quaint, we watched the rugby with a few beers and takeaway. Was lovely and quiet! Breakfast was lovely and I get looking the rivers, was a lovely view.
Excellent breakfast choice. The location was as expected and the facilities were well maintained. There is an area where you can use a microwave and fridge if you want to self-cater, which was an added bonus. We went out-of-season so the area was relatively quiet.
Fantastic breakfast
